who we are

Praise and Worship
Bridge Bible Church Uganda

We are a new church launching in April 2026.

We exist to help people know God through faith in Jesus Christ.

We are committed to faithfully teaching the Word of God, and growing in our relationship with God and one with another to impact our community with the hope of the gospel.

We are passionate about seeing the gospel intersect our daily lives. We don’t want to just ‘go’ to church, we want to ‘be’ the church. We want to live as the church every day, living life on mission together. We believe Jesus is the bridge, between God and humanity, and it’s only through Him that we can be saved from our sins and receive the gift of eternal life. We hope our church can be a place where people encounter God, belong to His family, be equipped and engage life with purpose.

meet the pastors

Bridge Bible Church Uganda

Lameck, and his wife Kelsey, got married in Uganda in 2019. They’ve welcomed 3 children along the way, Jethro-4 years, Nevaeh-2 years and Ezra-2 months.

Together they founded and run Orutindo Ministries Uganda, which translates “The Bridge Ministries,” in Rutooro-Lameck’s local language. From the time they met, God has placed a burden on their hearts to start a church someday. After years of praying and waiting, they moved to Fort Portal and their God stirred their hearts for their community in Fort Portal and feel called to plant a church in there, to advance God’s kingdom.

Lameck is a mutooro by tribe from Fort portal Uganda, and a medical doctor by profession. He enjoys raising chickens and a good hot cup of African spiced chai.

Kelsey is from Michigan, USA, and is a missionary living with her family in Uganda. Kelsey loves writing and an afternoon in the kitchen baking muffins. As a family they love going on road trips and running around outside laughing with their kids.

Their heart is for the church and to help people see that our only hope and purpose is discovered when we encounter God through faith in Jesus Christ. They want to see people transformed and live purposeful lives for the glory of God.

Our beliefs

The Holy Bible was written by men who were inspired by the Holy Spirit and is God’s revelation of Himself to man. It has God for its author, salvation for its end, and truth, without any mixture of error, for its matter. The sixty-six books of the Bible constitute the written Word of God, completely infallible and inerrant, inspired equally in all parts.

Therefore, all Scripture is totally true and trustworthy and will remain to the end of the world, the supreme standard by which all human conduct, creeds, and religious opinions should be tried. All Scripture is a testimony to Christ, who is Himself the focus of divine revelation.
